I've used nets for the last 4 years and have been very happy with them. The nets I use are the truck/tailgate/SUV nets from Walmart. I think they were like $8 a piece. I use 3 - have 4 life vests packed in the back net, 2 in the middle net, and leave the front one (all are behind the electronic box) empty for jackets, shirts, towels, etc. I use a bunch of wire ties (i.e. one every 6 inches or so) to keep them up and just leave a gap on each side on the front of each net, to take things in and out of them. Four years later, the nets are still in great condition - just had to replace some of the wire ties. Of course, this setup will depend on how your t-top frame is made - i.e. I have a bunch of horizontal bars on the back 2/3rds of the t-top, whereas some t-tops have them running mainly bow to stern.
