Seat Repair
Genelie - I had this exact problem with my 03 210. The release pin to allow the seat to swivel was frozen in place - I tried to twist and ended up shearing the aluminum housing around the pin. For one seat I was able to use a nail punch and pushed the pin into the inside of the post. For the other I tried a screw out to unthread the pin housing. But I couldn't salvage the basic seat pan mechanism on either, and ended up ordering two new seat mechanisms from Dick at Merritt. He sells just the swivel pin assembly too, and that would be obviously be the way to go. I think it was about $100 each in my case.
I am now paying a lot more attention to keeping the friciton adjust and pin mechanism lubricated. Dick said to use vaseline.
Good luck......Barry
