I own a 2002 186 bay, The wife and I had it out on the 4th for fireworks on my lake and all was well. The wife was cleaning out the boat a few days ago and a crack has appeared on the starboard side scupper on the interior... This has to have happeden in the last month. I really ony use the boat on my lake so it dosen't get a lot of hours. The strange thing is it looks like the foam has expanded and caused this problem, it is more of a split than a crack, it is about a1/4 inch wide, and I can see the foam underneath...
The bad part of this is I started a new business and I really need to sell it to make ends meet, and now I'm stuck with a split hull. I tried to e-mail triumph, but no responce yet... heres a few pics for your viewing enjoyment...
I guess I'll wait to hear from Triumph to see what we can do to fix this situation...
I guess I will take out the thermal imager and see if I can see how saturated the hull is.
