191fs

Well I did it.

In my first post on the forum I was in negotiation for a 05 191wt but after much deliberating I decided, along with much input from the wife, to get a 05 191fs w/150 yamaha.

We took it out yesterday to get some of the breakin hours done andf to get used to the boat plus give the wife some boating lessons. We went to the sacramento delta and crused around the sloughs and the decided to get into the main channel but it was a little to windy and rough to stay there long.

Boat handled pretty good not sure if the steering needs some adjustment or just need to get used to they way this type of boat handles but overall very pleased, except for the windsheild binding up and the latches falling off but easily fixed

Next on the list is to do some addon work. After reading on the forum I had no problem running the fishtape to pull wires for the tranducer so the fish finder combo will be no problem.

The next thing is mounting the bow mount trolling motor I have a pretty good idea on which one and what size base on commits here and from other boating friends but how to mount it securly?

I have not read here about any trolling motor mounting on this particular model boat and the 190s here have a little different shape on the bow.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to all that post here your info and insite on these boats have been very helpfull.
