Bob, I've had a 2001 Logic 186 for 3 1/2 years and the only time I have noticed that water was in the bilge area was when I would sit still for a while, like camping overnight. Otherwise, when I pulled the drain plugs, nothing came out.

As for power I have a 115 Suzuki and it does good for me. I just look at it this way, I can't go as fast as some boats but they can't go where I can go. The 186 has an 11 inch draft. I just make sure the motor doesn't 'bump' anything.

I use my boat for crusin', Geocaching, camping and scuba diving. I'm just now trying out fishin'. Oh My! Did I just use the 'F' word??

I take my boat mostly on lakes but have had it in the ocean a few times. It's not pretty like NCAngler or OspreyVic's boats but it works for me.

You might want to have someone check out the motor just to be sure on it.

My boat was "demo'd a couple of years before I got it "new" from the dealer with a new 2002 motor.
