Hi gsdiener. Glad you found the site and find it helpful. I moved your post to its own thread so you can more visibility to your question. Is there any chance that you might have a stereo that is draining power? I discovered that my 2006 215 Chaos factory installed Radio was pulling power even when it was turned off. Merritt Marine installed a toggle switch to kill the battery drain and all is well now. This may not be an issue with your 2000 but thought I'd mention it.
