Hi,
I had the same prop on my 2006 120 Triumph 25 HP Yamaha and my top end was like yours - slow! I replaced it with a Michigan Wheel Vortec Aluminum 10 X 12. I can now go 23-25 MPH versus 15-17 MPH with the 9 7/8 X 9. I also put a Hydrofoil on it to keep the bow down and get on plane quicker. All is well.
