C Firth, one more thing about the baitwell system. The baitwell pump system doesn't have a check valve, so when you turn the pump off it will let water drain out of the baitwell. I run my pump most of the time that I have bait in it in order to keep water circulating and keep the bait alive and fresh. If you dont want to run your pump all the time you can install a check valve to prevent the water from back flowing out of the tank or shut the valve like k9reno said. The problem with shutting the see cock valve is then you cant use your washdown system.
