I'm really bummed out
, no way to use the boat, it's winter, the ocean is lumped up 12-14 feet, Humboldt bay bar is worse than dead mans curve at 50 mph right now
and it's gusting 25-30 with rain moving in on the Satrad
Sigh.
The boat is safely winterized and tarped in the back yard, I'm rebuilding poles and reels and keeping the stove loaded up and staying warm.
The boat ran great this year, I pounded the crap out of it and nothing broke, shoot, even the deck screws stayed put since doing the "Hot screw" trick and adding a couple of new ones on either side.
Caught lots of fish and had a heck of a lot of fun with my little plastic boat and didn't have a thing to gripe about.
