Genelie, I fully agree with you. After washing the boat, we always stick a hose into the bilge area and spray everything we can.

With our boat stored in the garage, it sure helps eliminate odors.

Even if we stored the boat outside, we would hope that putting fresh water thru the bilge pump would help extend its life. The way salt will destroy things, why take a chance.

As you say, the service guys really appreciate a clean boat if they have to work on it.
