Thanks for the help. I completely forgot to think about the weight issue, so it looks like I can only go up to the 175 if I want to stay with Suzuki. Its no so much about top speed. I mainly need the extra horses for when the boat is loaded with 8 or more people or if I am fishing offshore and am loaded down with ice and fish. I really wish the dealer wasn't quoting me 4.5k to go from 140 to 175. Ordering online, the price difference is only 2k. If I end up keeping the boat, I will probably just repower at the end season when I have 500 hours on my 140. Otherwise its an awfully expensive deal for 35hp.
