A quick 21 mile trip to Catalina was a good effort for the Yamaha F150 strapped to the 210 CC. The return trip took us on a 92 mile loop north to Point Dume and returned to Cabrillo Marina around 7:30pm last Sunday. The seas were 4 Foot rollers. The boat powered thru everything at 20 mph all the way. I must say aside from every terminal on the power buss either coming loose or delivered loose, the boat did exceptional. It does a good job of holding a steady course. Top speed around 40mph w/ full tank of gas and 2 adults onboard. The boat also did a great job of keeping big rollers out of the cockpit area, we still ended up soaked from head to toe from the windwaves and spray. It was nice to be back on land and after we were done shivering we realized it was a day to remember.
