Ok, I think I have an odd ball.
I tested my boat with a hose.
The wash down works perfect. You hear the pump come on and it sprays fine.
The baitwell however does not work. I checked the blue handle on the gate valve to the pump, it's in the right position. The black valve in the baitwell is open. Compressed air can be felt flowing in either direction.
If I take a hose in the baitwell through the black valve, water comes out the brass suction hole in the bottom of the boat.....but, with the hose at the bottom of the boat, only the wash down works.
Wouldn't I hear the pump come on, when I switch on the baitwell? I don't, only the washdown. Is there a float switch that is telling the pump that the well is full?
Also, the fuse at the switch is fine, and the switch and the light in the baitwell both come on when turned on.
Please help, I'm baffeled.
