sounds like a defective pump or switch to me . when you throw the baitwell switch up to on, the pump should run even if no water is present i.e. water hose from below. usually you have to turn the baitwell pump on to prime the washdown ,so at least that doesnt seem to be a problem..odd that it was working at the dock ,but not after sand bar unless it loaded up the pump with shells or trash that has the impellars on the pump jammed ---but that should have tripped the breaker at the switch--anyway just throwing things out others came add to or debunk. if dealer is near get it to him--it is under warranty if '07
