Mounted slightly above and medially to the two batteries. I made a cradle after loosing a battery per year with it sitting at a tilt. Used heavy duties and pressure treated wood.....well, my father contributed that device as I would have used Starboard as well.....we'll see how long it lasts, 3 years so far no problem. That's an L.A. fix. "Lower Alabama", that is. haha
