Congrats!
I think 160 hours is good. I wouldn't want a 2003 motor with less hours as that would mean that it sat too much. As far as life-span, mechanics tell me that my Honda 4S will go for 1,500 hours or ten years. But that is all subject to care and how much she gets used. Sea Tow puts over 1,000 hours on motors in a single season. Some old nasty 2S motors from the 80's are still on the water and God only knows what kind of hours they got on em'.
Bimini tops are good with kids - lots of shade. T-Tops don't provide enough shade, but are good for mounting stuff.
Boat cover  that'll save you some big bucks right there.
Use undiluted Simple Green on your initial cleanup. Then anything that won't come off you can use something heavier on. But I've been able to get everything off with Simple Green. It is supposed to be non-toxic, but undiluted it will kill grass. Other guys on this board have used power washers.
Overall, I think you got a fair price. Trust me, the equipment alone would've eaten you alive at retail. Boats are holes in the water that you throw money into. But I love doing it.
