Tunaboyyy,
Your questions begged for a reply. If you chase tuna off shore then you know that no CC boat will keep you completely dry in bad conditions. Just a fact of life in a CC. You can buy the factory kit or have some custom console curtains made that will enclose two people and keep them dry in the worst of it. That was my solution to the spray problem. As far as the flex, you willl not see it but you will feel the softness of entry when you fly off a lip. You will still be jarred when you hit but it will be less violent than a glass boat. I have owned glass and aluminum used in the Pacific for many species over many seasons. The Triumph has been the most enjoyable for the ease of maintenance, fuel consumption (4 stroke helps the most), overall ride for size of boat and trailerability. Yes there are still some nits I have about fit and finish, but for the money I don't know where you could get a better deal. If you test other boats as a comparison, be sure to compare like size. Longer boats will ride better in the rough than a 21'. They cost a lot more also. Good luck on the decision. codfish
