I'm not too worried about resale value. This will be my 3rd and last boat for a while. One of the reasons I do not want a highspeed pickup is because I had a problem with the last one. I'm riding along a 20mph or so and I hit something. The pickup was ripped out of the hull somehow. You would be amazed at how much water can enter a boat thru a 4x5 inch hole. To me one less hole in the bottom of the boat is good. I will be using the live well for food storage only. My plan is to build a storage box where the 72qt cooler fits under the swingback seat. My brother is a cabinet maker and I think will use teak for the box.
