Man, you'll love this boat for what you wanna do. I fish river, bay and offshore if it is pretty flat as far as 35nm in the Gulf. The casting deck is nice and two can easily fish on this boat comfortably....three if one is at the helm. doubles as a family friendly lake, light ski boat/knee boarding.

I have continuously upgraded my Bay 190. Started off with a Zuke 140 with ss prop due to all the oyster beds etc around Dauphin Island. Initially went with a bimini top but had a custom T-top made and this opened up alot of new storage options with 2 T-bags and electronics box. I use a MinnKota 101 saltwater trolling motor with removable mount.....works the rivers and inlets with no problems and with 3 batteries, I have never ran out of juice so it is also an emergency "kicker" just in case.

Fished alot, mostly saltwater trolling, bottom reefs, inlets for bull reds, specks in the bay. Flyfishing is fine as that is the initial reason I bought the 190 Bay and started tying flies this week after a long sebatical from flyfishing.

Just enough room for the things you need....maybe a few you don't.

Whatever you add electronically, make sure it is waterproof. The 190 Bay is fairly dry but bay chop and a strong breeze with get you...as well as those unexpected summer thunderboomers!
