When I bought mine in '04 my dealer said they found the best performance using a 2 stoke 60 hp motor. I did test drive one with a 75 hp on it and the difference to me seemed neglible so I went with the 60 because it was less money. I'm very pleased with my setup but that's not to say I wouldn't have been pleased with a 75 hp either.

I doubt very seriously that if you insisted on a four stroke 75 that either of those two dealers would turn down a sale just because they don't like them. As long as it is within the weight limits and horsepower rating on the boat they should have no problem putting on whatever engine you want. After all, you're paying for it.
