Not to worry, you've got plenty of hull left. A 1/8" deep gash is nothing to frett over...it will not affect your performance one bit. Unless you are worried about the cosmetic appearance, I would not even have it repaired. Just adds character to an already tough boat. Fiberglass would be another story altogether. The phrase "cha-ching" comes to mind.
