2007 Triumph Boats Fishing Tournament & Get Together

Special thanks to Triumph Boats and to these Triumph Dealers for their sponsorship of this event:

50% percent of the proceeds from the tournament will go to support the Cameron Boys Wilderness Camping program of NC Baptist Children's Homes. However, the Calcutta "Big Fish" events will be 100% payout. Again details are listed on the Registration page.

NOTE: Here is some information regarding the entry fees. Please send any questions to us via email.

Entry fees - Offshore King Mackerel and/or Inshore Flounder:
  • Inshore Flounder Division - $100 per boat ($125 after July 1st)
  • Offshore King Mackerel Division - $100 per boat ($125 after July 1st)
  • Enter both Divisions for $200 per boat ($250 after July 1st)
  • $50 Calcutta entry per Division (Inshore/Offshore) - ($100 for both)
  • $25 Lady Angler entry per boat
  • $25 Kid Angler entry per boat
Prizes:
  • 1st-5th Place cash prizes (up to 3 Fish Aggregate)
  • CALCUTTA - 100% payout for largest fish in each division - (1st-50%; 2nd-30%; 3rd-20%)
  • Top Lady Angler
  • Top Kid Angler (12 & Under)
The entry fees are for each boat, not each person. You can have a crew of one or more people with you fishing on your boat but the entry is just for the boat. So if you're fishing inshore for flounder the fee is $100 for your boat. Same with offshore for King Mackerel. If you want to enter both divisions it is $200 for the boat no matter how many are on board. Our charity receives 50% of the proceeds from the Inshore/Offshore competition and then the remaining 50% is divided among the top five winners in each division. These prizes are based on the total weight of the largest three fish weighed by each boat in each division.

If you have a Lady Angler on board and want to enter her (1 or more) that is $25 per boat (not per person). Same is true for kid anglers under the age of 12. It is $25 per boat to have a kid angler in contention to win the Kid Angler division.

The Calcutta is a "Big Fish" payout. Everyone that enters the Calcutta has a chance to win all the money from the entries in that Calcutta event. So for instance if 20 boats enter the Inshore Flounder Calcutta at $50 per boat, the total payout in that division would be $1000, divided among three boats with the largest Flounder winning $500, 2nd largest winning $300 and third place winning $200, based on the payout percentages listed on the registration form. The payout is determined by the number of boats that enter that Calcutta event, but our charity does not receive proceeds from the Calcutta event so 100% of the entries in each Calcutta event are paid out to the biggest fish winners in that division.

Also, each person on the boat fishing will need to secure a NC fishing license. You can learn more about this here and you can purchase the license online (NC residents and non-residents) by going to: http://www.ncwildlife.org/
Click on the "Purchase Licenses" button and follow the instructions to purchase an annual or short-term fishing license. State Coastal Recreational Fishing — 10 Day licenses are $5.00 for NC residents and $10.00 for non-residents. Here is a direct link to the NC Fishing License online purchase site.
