I also use Wisely Marine Insurance. I've been happy with them (seem straightforward) and increases have been minimal (i.e. maybe $20 in 4 years). However, I don't have any claim experience to share either.

I pay right around $400 or $420 per year for I think "agreed" value on the 210 boat of around $13k and depreciable value of 2000 Merc 150 carb motor and 2000 galv trailer. I'm covered anywhere within 30 miles of the continental US coastline.

I got a quote from Boat US before and I think it was like $50-70 cheaper per year, but they wanted me to do a bunch of things (i.e. I think a survey or something).
