I cant remember if there is a gasket / o-ring on it or not, but it is eazy to check. Just unsnap the side catches on the pump housing and pull the top of the pump off of the pump base. Mine was leaking and I found that my pump housing had a crack in it. The base housing and the pump head will have barbed nipples on them. The top one is for the pump discharge going to the baitwell and the bottom one it the water supply to the washdown pump suction. When you pull the top of the pump to check for a gasket be sure to check the pump housing for cracks. Mine was cracked around the pump discharge nipple going to the baitwell.
