I had the same thing. What I did was mount a block of wood to the underside and glue some non-skidding material (it is actually designed to be used in your kitchen drawers to keep utensils from sliding around when you open and close them) to the bottom. It still wants to scoot but not nearly as much as before. I thought about adding some weight to it via some lead shot but haven't as of yet.
