I took delivery of my new Triumph 190 Bay yesterday. The Fishmaster T-Top is great. They did have to shim under the feet but it is solid as a rock. I had wanted an enclosure made up but the person that was supposed to do it is very ill.
Wayne, Felicia and the staff at Hooked On The Bay are fantastic. I really appreciated the attention that they paid to the detail in explaining all the
features as well as suggestions to get the most out of your Triumph.
I was able to get on the water at Charlestown yesterday afternoon to work at breaking the Honda 90 in at 2000 to 3000 RPM'S for about 4 hours.
I stayed overnight at a local motel so I could spend today fishing. At 7:30 AM I launched at Tydings Marina in Havre De Grace and as I cleared the Marina my Garmin 176C GPS went blank. Not a good thing when you are fishing the Flats. I fished and ran hard for about 4 hours. The boat handled the chop nicely. I was really pleased that I did not get soaked with spray from my wake.
My 17' Logic CC was a nice handling boat but the 190 Bay is so superior that there is
NO COMPARISON. Love all the storage with locks.
The fishing was totally uneventful, so I elected to return home about noon. My 2004 Cheve Tahoe did not even know that we were pulling the boat.
I plan on taking some detailed photos of the Fish Master fold down T-Top this weekend along with some full shots of the finished boat and posting them.
I was very surprised by the numbers of boaters and people at the ramps that came up and asked a lot of questions about my boat and the admiration that they had for it. Made me feel that buying the Triumph 190 Bay was the right thing to do.
