How does your 210/215 handle in following seas?
I have had by 2006 215 for a little over 2 months now and have fished her several times offshore on Florida's east coast. I like the ride when going against the seas, she seems to ride smooth and quite soft. The past two times I have been out, as we are returning back to the inlet in following seas she seems to be real bow heavy and bow steers a little. Not the most comfortable feeling... So what I wanted to ask everyone is, is this normal for this boat? Does anyone else have this situation?
The only gear I had up front was ice in the cooler seat. I tried to trim the motor up but would cavitate fairly quickly.
The dealer mentioned dropping the motor down one hole on the transom to allow for more upward trim without cavatation but Triumph said not to. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!
