I have the new wireless Minn Kota riptide on my 2007 170CC 55lb thrust. I have been out 3 times so far and have had a problem with it each time. The hand held remote and the foot control do not work well and lose contact and have to be reset. Then last time out after fishing for 15 minutes the whole thing died. Minn Kota asks you deal directly with them on these models and not to go through the dealer. I am no one my 4th call and full of frustration and will call my dealer to help me tomorrow. Good luck. I knew I should have stayed away from that technology.
