i found on the 01 210 cc that once any water did get inside and you had the foam plug supposedly "filling" the void, that the plug actually floated in the water and cause more pressure thereby causing the cover to fail more quickly.
interesting to see what triumph comes up with as this issue has been out there since day 1!!
and as we have always pointed out , each model will be better with our suggestions being brought forward for the plant to consider
