As far as the speedometer goes, I've had several boats, the last two I bought new, the speedometers NEVER work, all it takes is to blow the water out of the tube, and whenever you bring the boat in to be serviced,just tell them, and they will do that. I don't even bother with it anymore, just go by the GPS. I assume you have the Faria gauges, right? That's what's on this, and my last boat, and it was the same on both.
