Should be an easy job. I used a small electritians snake as well, starting from inside the center console, just start working the snake down and thru the black plastic tube that sticks out in the console.
Once thru to the transome box, use electrical tape to attach in the most streamline manner your transducer cable. Then slowly pull the snake back out thru center console. Stop if you feel resistance and rotate or jostle the snake a bit to work it around other lines ran in the pipe.
I have used a 15' length of steel cable which is alot cheaper than a snake and it was about half the thickness of a pencil but stiff enough to shove. It worked the best running lines in T-top piping.
