Water/condensation can enter the conduit tube from the transom area. I have ran several lines thru there and notice they are moist but like you said, using marine grade wires, this should not be an issue.
Most everything on a center console boat is subject to getting wet. Only use waterproof electronics, just plan on it, do you think the wires going to your bilge pump ever get wet?
