thanks Dick. I've never had any problems with the holders pulling out either. how about drilling the holes for them, mine currently have tape on the bottom of them that someone put on there(wasn't me, but I bought the boat used) don't really like it because it prevents the rods from locking in there. is it there to prevent water seapage or something? the water will get in anyway so not sure about this.
maybe I'll give you a jingle about it. although I bought some double rigger rod holders so I can put 2 rods in the one holder for now so I won't be adding right away.
