I have a 175 Suzuki on my 215 and have to agree with rudderhinge. The boat tends to lower to port when up on plane and over 35mph. It must be related to the motor more than the boat. I also have trim tabs and when loaded with gear and passengers they are a life saver. If you plan on using your boat in the ocean or a rough body of water I would highly advise you to get some tabs. It makes for a much nicer ride on plane and better control with a following sea or when you are in an inlet . Hope this helps best of luck.
