I just had a Riptide installed on my 07 170CC. The dealer installed it for me. They changed the front light out for a short pole light (probably 8-10 inches tall). It works well and can be removed and stored during the day. As for the wire, I think it comes out under the console. That is where my battery was installed.
I would send some pictures, but I am traveling for the next two weeks. If you would like to see them after I get back, just let me know.
