I have returned it to the dealer and he has made an appt. w/ the factory to have small trim tabs added to the hull. Apparantly, this is a known problem and they do have a way to fix it. I've asked about changing props or adding the hydrofoil and they said it would help but wouldn't fix the problem. It is headed for the factory in NC on the 12th. I'll give you an update when I get it back.

Happy Boating!!!
I have a 2007 150-cc with the 40 Hp Yamaha 4 stroke. It takes full power over 5000 rpm to get up on plan slowly but once there i can cruise along nicely at 4200 rpm on plan at 22 MPH indicated on the odometer with 550lbs of people dogs and gear on board. I almost opted for a larger engine when I bought the boat but didn't want a gas hog to feed. The 40 averages about 1.5 GPH out fooling around and averages about 2 GPH if I haul *** if you can call 25MPH that. Also it is very easy to launch, retrieve and tow behind a 2001 Pontiac Montana. And fits nicely in my garage. I couldn't find a better boat to fit my needs. We did get caught in a violent thunderstorm the last time out and had to make an emergency docking behind a vacant house for sale at there dock. The bilge pump kicked right in during the storm and keep it drained. The passengers got soaked. The Bimini top is not real protective in a thunderstorm. I almost bought a little C-Dory for protection in just such a case but didn't see any for sale here in Virginia so I got the Triumph, a great little boat.
