Boat lift hull support

I keep reading that any hull support for a Triumph boat has to be identical to the trailer layout or all sorts of bad things are going to happen.

I have had my 190Bay in a high and dry storage marina for the last three years. It spends about eight months in storage and the rest of the year it sits on the trailer. The marina provides only two bunks to support the hull. When I set the boat back on the trailer it seems to fit just fine. In other words, I do not notice any hull distortion.

I have finally got my own dock and lift installed, so I will be leaving the marina at the end of the month. However, my boat lift has only two support bunks, the same as the high and dry storage. I have talked to the people who installed the lift about additional bunks, but this conversation went nowhere. Perhaps I should have discussed this before I selected the lift?

I have really enjoyed the 190Bay, but if I have to modify the lift, I think that it may be time to move to fiberglass.

In any event, my question is. Does anyone keep their boat on a lift with only two support bunks? If so how has it worked out? Any hull distortion or other problems?
