An easy method of running cables through your boat is to get a fish tape. Any electrical supply, hardware store, home depot or Lowe's will have them. This is a naroow metal tape on a spool that electricians use to "fish" wires through conduit. They work very well for wiring your boat too. I have pulled wires for two fish finders, and two on-board battery chargers with mine. It makes the job quick and easy, plus its just a good tool to have around the house.
