I have an old glass boat while waiting to get my Triumph, made in 1978 it is completely water logged in the foam, I got a room dehumidifier from Lowe's and placed it on the deck with several thru holes cut down to the foam. then I installed a drain hose to the water catcher and lead it out of the boat drain hole. I then got a big cheap wall mart tarp some bungie cords and a couple of rolls of duct tape, after stretching the tarp out with the bungies I used the tape to seal of the tarp around the outside of the hull and let it run with a five gallon bucket under the transom to catch the water...after three buckets of water in about two days things started to slow down and I stopped ... and plugged the holes up... I think I need to do it again tho.....This really helps the drying out process...
I have tried to drill holes in the outer hull and let the water drip out but the foam just won't let...the dehumidifier is the way to go on this......
