Question about OB Mount Location on 190 CC

My 2002 190CC came with a 2002 Honda BF 130. The factory/dealer mounted the motor on the bottom setting/hole. So my questions are:

Where should the motor typically be mounted?

Is there a measurement that can be taken from the cavitation plate to the bottom of the keel?

What is the factory's recommended measurement to question 2?

Currently, I do believe that the boat is plowing excessively until I get up on plane, but it doesn't appear to be a big problem. Just looking to see if the motor is sitting too low. The exhaust in the rear of the motor does go under water at times when the chop is in excess of 1.5 to 2 feet while drifting.
