How deep have you totally drilled?? if only .75 you havent even gotten thru the transom yet. transom has high density i.e. hard form and the inner foam is soft. i do not think you have gone in far enough yet. as i posted earlier i have a open cavityarea that is over 12" deep for the water to collect in while the plug is in. there is gonna be alot of water coming out the hole if you have water coming up thru the stringer kinda concerned about the 1.75x1.5 location . seems a tad close to the center stringer but may be ok.

early model 210 had rod holders that had open bottoms. the factory simply put electrical tape on them to try to seal out water ,but it doesnt take long for the tape to fail. one quick way to know the condition of your rod holders is to fill full of water and leave them full for awhile. if the water drains out ,it is going into the foam. i pulled them out ,screwed male x barbed fittings in the bottom and put a piece of tubing out thru the rod holder. now they drain any water onto the deck.
