I would say it's all in the interpretation. I do like my triumph, but there are some major things that need help on the rig. I have dumped more money into electronics and other gear on my boat that a lot of others have in their entire rig. I spend a lot of time on the water on my boat and on others, so when I am making an observation of something it is not coming from a guess or off the top of my head. This certainly is not the first internet site I have been a part of either. When I do make statement as to this being a cheerleader site, I do believe it is. I don't think it's a bad thing. This site is made up of enthusiasts that all share a common interest.
The only thing I do consider to be quite odd is that when I am an owner, a supporter of the site, a contributer, makes a statement that is a little off base from what the general concensus seems to be he or she is labeled and scolded. Mind you, I don't believe this forum should be a free for all. I do feel everyone does have their own style and shouldn't be made an example of every time they decide to express in the proper way.
I am a fan of the site and believe it has a lot of good information and good people also. I have observed on other dedicated sites that people can become influenced easily towards a certain thinking when that is all they are exposed to. Sometimes a little perspective on things is not always a bad thing. Either way, it has not been my intent to insult or persuade anyone to do anything but maybe see things from both sides of the street. I will try to be a little less caustic if I have differing opinion next time. Perhaps it will sit better with the powers that be, and yes the last line was a joke.
