The project has been started, and has turned into a nightmare. The plastic conduit from the bow running lights ends up about 2 inches below the front of the fuel tank. I called the factory and Russ said that they never thought that someone would be crazy enough to add something else onto the bow of the boat, so they never thought about placing the conduit higher and wider to pull extra wire. I have the entire back end of the boat torn up, and the fuel tank moved backwards to get the pull wire to pull the #6 battery wire leads for the capstan. My wife is looking at the boat as if it went through a hurricane. I just replied that it's GONNA HAPPEN!, and this 21 footer will have a capstan on the bow in the next couple of weeks. Everyone please pray, cause the worst of the project is done. I just have to spend about a $100 on elastrometic caulking to put all the major components back in place. Thank God the center consol did not have to be removed. We just had to pull up the seat/bait tank section and the rear bildge platform. Will check back with you later.
