Roplene strength
While doing my research into these boats I came across someone who claimed to be an engineer in the plastics industry. He stated that Plastics like Roplene lose up to 50% of their strength after five years, while the UV inhibitors used eventually breakdown and cause the boat to lose strength. Are there any engineers out there who can explain this? Any truth?
By the way, I drove 200 miles up to Michigan to see a 21' for sale, I was quite impressed with the layout, and am seriously considering purchasing it.
