I did a quick search and found the 1623 furuno has a 15" radome for it. I use furuno radar and fish finders and have great luck with their products. Garmin also does make some really nice electronics, and they might have a radar with a smaller radome on it. I do use a Garmin chart plotter and gps and have been very happy it. I hope this helps.
