Smile Western Australia my 170DC 75Hp ETC

So here in Perth West Australia spring has sprung and a perfect day was forecast. Unfortunately, I was struck down with a mysterious case of gastro, keeping me home from work. Luckily the gastro passed and I was able to give the kids the slip (one at school and one at grandmas) grabbed the wife and a couple of close friends and get the boat into the river by 130pm. Spent the rest of the day idly wondering what all the other people were doing. A pod of six or eight dolphins decided to cruise alongside the boat for ages. It was low tide when I took the boat our and my Subaru imprezza sportswagon had many problems pulling the boat out. The boat ramp is a sand ramp is a constant cause of consternation (I do not think the local residents want the ramp improved or made more popular). Had to take the boat off the trailer and start again, then had to dig the wheels out but finally got it out. Even the hassle and stress of recovering the boat was not going to spoil another fantastic day on my Triumph.
By the way the covers on the baitwell does not match up perfectly, there is some rust in the trailer, I once cut my finger on the groove that runs around on the floor of the boat and the steering is a bit stiff and Triumph have made a boat that is a bit big/heavy for my car and Triumph need to improve my boat ramp . But hey my kids wake up at 5am most day and I still love them. Given enough time I could pick holes in anything but this boat gives me so much pleasure, distresses me from work and when the dolphins swim along side and my kids smile I can live with a couple of minor annoyances/defects.
Thanks Triumph I am loving every minute.
