Sorry for your troubles. I do understand your disappointment, but you are talking about something that is mechanical and was put together by humans. You could have spent well over $100,000 for a new car and had some sort of "issue" within the first few months.
Have you talked to your dealer? They would be where I would start in trying to solve the problem. Not being good at tracking electrical problem's, if I had to fix it myself, I can think of 3 things that could be causing the problem. First, the pump itself (have you call the pump manufacturer for their thoughts?), the switch could be bad, or wiring could be faulty.
Sorry, but that is all I can think of. Good luck on finding and solving the problem.
