The shorter the pitch the better, as long as at WOT you don't red line your motor. I think you mean you have a 15" diameter x 19" pitch. If she can take a 17' pitch without overrevving, that will most likely be as smallest you can go. (pitch meaning the advance of the prop though a solid block in one revolution). You will still, most likely, idle down to the same RPM with whatever pitch you use. Smaller pitch should reduce your speed through the water. Whether that will get you down slow enough, I don't know. I put a trolling plate on mine and it works great. See "accessories that work" on the 190 / 195 series forum.

I have absolutely no idea about trolling at 10,000 feet though, I'm usually looking out the window of an airplane at that altitude!!
