Baycoastal, The inner hull drain is not necessary on every boat. It only becomes an issue when there are points of entry to the inner hull that are not sealed well. The drain is a precaution or a way to let the water out, that's all. And folks we're talking about 'drips' not 'gushes'. If you have "bad looking warranty weld work" then you should demand that the dealer or Triumph (whomever did the work) make it right. What was welded that looks so bad? Welding is not necessary with the inner hull drain. No one is holding you hostage except your own negative thinking. If you don't like your boat, sell it. If you like it but somethings not right, fix it. It is that simple. Or am I missing something? If you have a house that you want to sell chances are you're going to get a better price for it if you fix it up before putting it on the market. Same thing applies with your boat.
