I contacted Triumph Service Manager (at the factory) and he confirmed that Triumph do not recommend fitting the additional drains.... he did say though, if water does manage to get in to the cavity in between the inner and outer skin (where the foam is) it is generally caused by a crack or, faulty workmanship where "after-market" accessories have been fitted. Stands to reason i think? I think i am on the right track? Cheers.
